Olympic Day 2018
On Friday, July 20th, the YMCA of Austin Program Services Branch will be hosting our 2018 Summer Camp Olympic Day at the Texas School for the Deaf.
Olympic Day has served as an international platform for children in camp to learn about cultures from around the world. At this event, our camps come together to enjoy age-appropriate activity booths and games alongside volunteers and staff. Each camp will be representing a different country at Olympic Day and participating in themed activities all week to learn more about their country's cultures and traditions.
Olympic Day volunteers help engage with campers by leading our activities and support the overall success of the event. Free breakfast and lunch, as well as Y thank you bag, are included!
As an Olympic Day volunteer you'll help us provide a memorable summer for our campers, one that will be a highlight of their Y experience!
